Sheila
Mogle started Sheila's Twirl and Dance over 10 years ago in Whitehouse.
Her love of dance and twirling helped her achieve her goal in opening
her own studio. Her dedication and perseverance has helped her operation
grow larger each year of operation. Sheila's love of dance started as
a child and has only become greater each year. Sheila is a graduate of
Whitehouse High School where she was a member of the majorette line and
served as head majorette her senior year. She has been teaching twirling
and dance since she was a senior in high school.

Donna
Cooke is Sheila's Twirling and Dance office manager. She has been working
at the studio for the past seven years, typing newsletters and sending out
nasty notes informing parents to pay their bills. Donna's hobbies include
playing taxi driver to her children, Jordan and Tanner. |
Paige Springerley grew
up in a small town in east Texas by the name of Woodville. She was a member
of the only cheerleading squad in Woodville to make it to the national level
in Orlando, Florida, which was televised on ESPN in 1993. Paige was a cheerleader
for the Eagles for five years, serving as head cheerleader her senior year.
She went on to become a member of the Angelina College pom squad in 1997.
Paige is a graduate of Tyler Junior College and is currently a senior at
The University of Texas at Tyler majoring in Journalism. She is a second
year instructor at Sheila's currently serving as cheerleading coach for
Sheila's Cheer Elite competitive squad. |
Amanda
Kennedy is currently a sophomore at Whitehouse High School. She has been
attending Sheila's Twirl and Dance Studio for eight years and has been coaching
cheerleading for the past three. In addition to teaching at Sheila's she
is also a member of the senior dance team and is a three year member of
the cheerleading squad inWhitehouse. |
Kristina
Allen is currently attending Tyler Junior College and is a member of the
TJC Co-ed Cheerleading Squad. She is in her first year as an instructor
at Sheila's, coaching the Cheer Elite competitve squad. |
Kimberly Abna is a graduate
of Whitehouse High School. She was a member of the majorette line fir a
total of six years. Kim has been a student at Sheila's for five years and
has been an instructor for the last three. She teaches twirling and jazz
classes for girls ages three and up. Kim is currently attending Tyler Junior
College majoring in business. Her hobbies are twirling and shopping. |
Melanie Leach not only has
the privilege of being Sheila's sister but she also has the opportunity
to teach at the studio. "Aunt Mel" has been helping Sheila for
five years whether it be teaching a class or helping organize parades and
recitals. Melanie is a graduate of Whitehouse High School where she was
a member of the drill team. She is also a graduate of Tyler Junior College
and The University of Texas at Tyler. |
Megan
Downey is Sheila's saving grace, not only does she help out in the office
when needed but she also fills in as instructor when a teacher is unavailable.
In addition to working at Sheila's, Megan is a Whitehouse High School Majorette,
serving on both the junior high team for two years and currently a second
year veteran on the high school team. She has been taking dance and twirling
from Sheila for eleven years |
